Collaborative Writing:
Join us as we create a story together. Provide input, ideas, and be a part of a fantastic sci-fi saga, The Lion of Arkxinomas. Work as a team on character building, world-building, and all the behind the scenes work that goes into creating a captivating story. 1st Thursday of the month: The Calm Scribe Movie Night
Join us as we watch a classic film together then have a post film discussion on the writing, dialogue, and overall impressions of the film.
2nd Thursday of the month: The Calm Scribe In Conversation With...
Calling all creatives! If you are a writer, artist, musician, or other creative, here is an opportunity to discuss your passion. The third Thursday in each month features a creative in conversation with The Calm Scribe. From writers, to video game developers, and composers, there is something for everyone. If you would like to be interviewed or have a suggestion of someone to interview, please click here.
3rd Thursday of the month: Scribe's Journey with the Three Scribes
A panel made up of writers and creatives discussing topics in the creative world. If you have a topic you would like to see discussed, drop us a line here. (Opens to the Scribe's Journey website.)
4th Thursday of the month: The Writer's Workshop
If you are a writer struggling with a plot point, pacing, or writer's block, join me on stream via Discord call to discuss the issue and workshop it live on air. If you are interested in participating in the Writer's Workshop, please click here to send a request.
5th Thursday of the month: Wild Card/Game Night
The rare 5th Thursday in a month is a special day so we celebrate by playing games and doing whatever we feel. Grab a drink and join us!
Story Cube Fridays:
No longer only on social media! Each Thursday stream has a sneak peek at the roll for the week before it is released on social media on Friday. During the weekend stream, we break down the roll and discuss possible story creations before creating our own micro-stories. The first stream of the week, Monday, features a live reading of The Calm Scribe's story and any submitted for on-air reading! Games:
Being creative can be mentally taxing, and sometimes we need to break away and have some fun while dealing with writer's block, or just to let our brains rest. Join in the fun the fifth Thursday of each month and every Saturday. Feel free to suggest a game or vote on which game we play. Games currently being featured are:

- Nintendo Switch - Join The Calm Scribe as we play through various games on the Switch. Our current count is at 45 games played.
- Words on Stream - Play within the chat function and compete to find the most jumbled words.
- GeoGuessr - Play with The Calm Scribe as we find ourselves stranded on a random Google Map with only subtle clues to help us find our location in the world. Also, join in the fun of creating our own @TheCalmScribe and Viewers Map.
- Superliminial - A first person puzzle game which uses forced perspective and illusions to create a dream state from which you must escape. Watch as The Calm Scribe strives to become #1 in the world!
