In 2020, a global pandemic threatened Halloween for children. To do something special, my community association created a series of fun events for the children and requested a spooky story to be read live as a part of the festivities. The story and the events were well received and the community once more created special events for the Christmas Season, including another story. What began as creating magical moments for a time of need has turned into a yearly tradition.
